A theft that strikes at the heart of the project Last February 26, an unpleasant event affected our community: one of our tandems was stolen from within the Velostazione of Cormano-Cusano Milanino. This vehicle was not just a bicycle, but a fundamental tool for our daily inclusion activities. Losing a tandem means taking away the possibility of cycling for those who cannot do it alone, limiting the scope of our social workshop.
The tandem as a tool for true inclusion Since 2014, the Ciclofficina Sociale has operated as an educational cycle-mechanics workshop, focusing on the professional inclusion of people with mental fragility or hardship. In this context, the tandem represents the ultimate expression of our vision: a versatile vehicle that allows everyone, without distinction, to experience motor activity and the pleasure of travel. It is a bridge that connects people and breaks down the physical and social barriers of our city.
Let's turn a loss into new energy To continue our activities and replace the stolen vehicle, we have launched a support campaign involving our entire network. Even the smallest contribution is vital to allow us to purchase a new tandem and return to offering opportunities for movement to those who need it most.
