The Social Bicycle Workshop: Mechanical Passion and Social Impact
Since 2003, we have been transforming bicycles to rebuild lives and communities.
As a project of La Movida ETS, whose statute is available here), we combine cycling techniques with educational support. Through bicycle mechanics, we create paths of social inclusion and vocational training for people in vulnerable conditions. Every repair in our workshop becomes a concrete tool for redemption and the promotion of sustainable mobility.

Technical training for employment inclusion
We manage social integration programs for people in vulnerable situations. Through educational bicycle mechanics, we provide professional skills that restore autonomy and dignity to our apprentices. The workshop is a space for knowledge exchange where experienced mechanics and volunteers collaborate to build new opportunities for the future.
Regeneration and sustainable mobility.
Artisanal restoration and frame recovery
We fight waste by regenerating bicycles destined for landfills through the Save the rat bike project. We promote green mobility that values manual labor and drastically reduces the environmental impact of urban waste. Each restored vehicle is a concrete example of a circular economy that creates value for the entire community.
