Tailor Bike: the bicycle sewn together with you

Not just bikes, but stories that cycle back to life

Do you have an old bike in your cellar just waiting to be brought back to life? Or are you dreaming of a unique piece built around your desires? Tailor Bike is our creative customization service. Taking an old frame in hand doesn't just mean restoring an object, but recovering stories, journeys, and emotions. At Ciclofficina Sociale, the client is an integral part of the process: from color selection to components, every detail is decided together to transform an old vehicle into a "new" adventure companion.
Average completion time: 14-21 days.

This is where your vision takes shape and becomes a reality.

How your Tailor Bike is made

Our 6-step method, from idea to road

1. The Meeting

Let's define the project together based on your style and intended use: urban, sporty, or bikepacking.

2. The Project

We study the best frame and technical solutions to make your frame high-performing and safe.

3. The Colour

Choose your ideal shade from the RAL scale. The frame is sandblasted and powder-coated for durability.

4. Components

Together, we select new or vintage parts from our catalogs to give your bike the character you're looking for.

5. The Workshop

Now let's move on to assembly. If you wish, you can watch the work and see your bike take shape on the stand.

6. Let's Ride!

Your Tailor Bike is ready. A unique, numbered and personalized piece, ready for its new life with you.

Emozioni e storie condivise.

Benedetta's Tailor Bike

Benedetta entrusted us with an exciting project for a special gift for her husband. Giving new life to an old late 70s "sport" single speed. At Ciclofficina Sociale we gave it a new look. Cottered crankset and bottom bracket. Chromed steel rims. Cream-colored tires. Leather grips and saddle, matching in color.

Irene's Tailor Bike

Grandpa Billy's old bike goes to granddaughter Irene. Irene adores her grandpa and that's why she wants his bike. 80s "Perissinotto" touring bicycle. 28-inch "Sanremo racing" wheels. "Miche" hubs and pedals. 21-speed gears. "Gran Compe" brake calipers. "Torino" handlebars. "Royal" saddle. Leather grips.

SAMU's Tailor Bike

A unique and unforgettable gift for young Samuele from mum and dad. Fixed gear bike built from an old Rossignoli. Rossignoli sport frame from the 70s (size 55). Fixed flip-flop rims. "Prowheel solid" 46-tooth crankset. Rear freewheel: 18 teeth. 700 x 32 city tires. "Saccon" brake calipers and levers. Semi-flat urban handlebars.

MAURIZIO's Tailor Bike

The "Toro Bike" is a gift from a group of friends to Maurizio (a big Torino FC fan) for his 50th birthday. 70s sport frame with chromed lugs and fork ends. 46-tooth crankset. "Rod-type" handlebars. Polished aluminum rims with black spokes. 16-tooth freewheel. Vintage spring saddle and "boulevard" front rack.

Lucia's Tailor Bike

Dad Matteo gives a new bicycle to his daughter Lucia, who is a "lively" little girl: the joy is in both their eyes. 1970s "Mora" road bike transformed into an urban bike with "condorino" handlebars, 700 X 28 tires, and an original color that is, to say the least, unique.

ANDREA's Tailor Bike

Andrea is a customer who knows what he wants. From his old bike, he wants a "new" one that is light blue, with high-flange white flip-flop wheels and, most importantly, with his original saddle and a 50T chainring... because he wants to push hard and go fast on his bike.

ALESSANDRA's Tailor Bike

A classic: the boyfriend who gifts his beloved a beautiful bike. Obviously, the chosen color is passion red: well done, Andrea! A women's 26" Holland bike with a spacious front wooden crate. Colored tires, saddle, grips, pedals, and crate... all matching.

FEDERICO's Tailor Bike

Federico contacted us with a clear idea: he was looking for a bicycle with a sporty, refined style, capable of navigating city traffic but also ready to accompany him on his cycling weekends away. This led to a dialogue that transformed a desire into a shared artisanal project.
