Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Everything you need to know about our workshop and our projects.

You can find us right in the heart of the Cormano-Cusano Milanino train station, located on platform 1 on the Cusano Milanino side, exactly next to the bicycle station. The address for your navigator is Via Sacco e Vanzetti, and we are easily reachable both by train with the Trenord lines and by bicycle via the cycle paths of Parco Nord or Villoresi.

The Social Bicycle Workshop is open Monday to Friday, with two dedicated time slots. We are open in the morning from 9:30 AM until 1:00 PM and reopen in the afternoon from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM, ready to offer you mechanical assistance or information about our solidarity projects.

It is not mandatory to book an appointment in advance, but you are welcome to visit our workshop during opening hours for a quick check. Our mechanics will immediately assess the condition of your bicycle and inform you of the estimated repair time, based on the required work and the day's workload.

We apply ethical and transparent rates designed to cover material costs and directly support our social inclusion programs for vulnerable individuals. Before each intervention, we will provide you with a detailed quote, so you will know in advance the investment required to restore your vehicle to perfect efficiency and safety.

We enthusiastically accept donations of used bicycles, provided the frame is intact and safe. These bikes are a valuable resource for us: they are carefully refurbished in our workshop to be put back into circulation or prepared for shipment to Tanzania as part of the international solidarity project Baiskeli.

Tailor Bike service is our artisanal proposal for total customization, where we create a unique bicycle with you, starting from the creative recovery of an old frame. It's a bespoke process where you can choose colors, components, and finishes, transforming a glorious old-timer into a modern means of transport that perfectly reflects your style and needs.

Joining our team is a wonderful way to support the local area and doesn't necessarily require technical mechanic skills. We are looking for willing people who want to help with hospitality, bookcrossing, communication, or logistics support during our events; just send us an email or stop by to meet us in person.

The annual membership card of the La Movida ETS Association is the fundamental tool that ensures the survival of our social workshops and the bicycle repair shop itself. By subscribing to the 2026 membership card, you become an active supporter of sustainable mobility and allow us to continue offering professional redemption pathways to the young people we support every day.

Baiskeli is our bridge of solidarity that sends refurbished bicycles directly to Tanzania, providing an essential means of mobility to students and local workers. A bicycle in these contexts means being able to reach distant schools or workplaces, radically improving the quality of life and offering real opportunities for economic development to entire families.

Yes, at our station branch we always have a selection of bicycles refurbished by our guys and ready to hit the road. Every purchase made in the workshop directly finances the acquisition of new tools and educational materials for our training programs, making your choice a concrete act of circular and solidarity-based economy.
