2020: A year of awards and major achievements.
The Campione Award and the story of MiTomorrow
2020 was a year of important affirmations. We were awarded the prestigious Premio Campione (Champion Award), a recognition celebrated by the City Angels of Milan that honors the value of volunteerism and social impact.

The magazine MiTomorrow also dedicated a special feature to us titled "biCi siamo anche noi" (We're also on two wheels), calling us "two wheels of sociality" and describing how our workshop is a unique center for rehabilitation and conviviality.
2019: Cultivators of bicycles and of the future
2019 was a year of great media buzz for our projects. It all started with Climbing Radio tells Bike Caring, where we presented the initiative created with CBA and supported by Fondazione Cariplo. Our voice reached national airwaves thanks to the Interview with Riccardo Bosi on Radio Deejay for the Deejay on the Road program. In the local press, Il Gazzettino Metropolitano celebrated the start of our mission with the article Baiskeli, where a bike makes a difference, while Milano Today dedicated a video report titled Social Bike Workshop, repairing bicycles to reintegrate migrants and people in difficulty. Corriere della Sera reported on our international expansion with Pedals capable of saving lives. The "Bike Workshop" aims for Africa, followed by the Gazzettino Metropolitano special Life changes on two wheels. Finally, BC magazine dedicated an in-depth feature to us Bike Cultivators, defining our workshop as a true ecosystem of regeneration and cycling culture.
2018: The roots and the first international bridges
2018 was the year our vision began to solidify in the Milanese and local publishing landscape. The publication MiTomorrow dedicated an in-depth article to our work with the piece Two-Wheeled Overhaul, describing how our workshop at the station has become a reference point for those seeking ethical and quality mechanics. In the same period, the newspaper Il Giorno documented the first steps of our international challenge with the article Cormano's social bike workshop pedals towards Tanzania, highlighting the launch of the Baiskeli project. These early clippings bear witness to the birth of a solidarity network that has managed to transform every recovered bicycle into a concrete opportunity for social redemption and growth for our community.
2017: Origins and Year Zero of the Bike Workshop
2017 marked the moment our vision began to materialize amidst the station tracks. The daily newspaper Il Giorno, in its article on October 1st, celebrated this debut with the title Cusano Milanino, the solidarity bike workshop is at the station, the 'La Movida' laboratory trains people with disabilities by introducing them to work, documenting our mission from the outset. In the same year, the prestigious national magazine BC - Il mondo della bicicletta captured the deepest essence of our space in the special titled The SOUL Workshop. These early clippings are historical evidence of how the Social Bike Workshop was born not only to repair bicycles, but to regenerate social connections.
2012: The First Seeds of the Social Bicycle Workshop
Where it all began: between urban inspiration and early inclusion projects
2012 was year zero, the year of vision and initial experiments. During this period, the press began to take an interest in our idea of combining a passion for bicycle mechanics with social impact. The Persone con disabilità (People with Disabilities) portal reported on our mission from the outset in the article Bike Workshop and Inclusion, emphasizing how the bicycle could become a tool for autonomy. At the same time, publications like Urbano Creativo News documented the buzz around the Bike Workshop in Bovisa, testifying to the birth of a model of urban and social regeneration that would later find its definitive home at Cormano station. These first clippings are proof of a promise we have kept: pedaling together towards a more open and inclusive society.
