Baiskeli: The bicycle beyond borders
We support mobility and autonomy in Tanzania
Baiskeli means "bicycle" in Swahili, and it is the name of our Association La Movida ETS's international project. Launched in 2020, this initiative aims to create a virtuous cycle of development in Tanzania, using mechanics as a tool for economic and social empowerment. We don't just bring means of transport; we transfer technical skills to empower local communities to take charge of their own future.

It's a journey that received a fundamental boost thanks to the 2019 Solidarity Book: its sale guaranteed the necessary funding to cover the first two years of activities, allowing us to transform those pages into concrete opportunities for work, mobility, and health for the entire community of Pomerini.
